Welcome from WACPC!
WACPC is thrilled to embark on
another year of promoting and supporting the sports of
cheer and dance in Wisconsin. We are honored to
continue to have the endorsement from the WIAA as the
cheer and dance organization of the state of Wisconsin.
During the 2008-2009 year, we are excited to bring you
some new events and opportunities:
Coaches and Captains Conference
The WACPC Fall Coaches & Captains
Conference will be October 11-12 at the beautiful Chula
Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells. This newly refurbished
facility will be a fantastic site for the conference
that will be filled with great hands-on sessions for the
captains and sessions full of information for our
coaches presented by experts in the fields of cheer and
dance. Mark your calendars for what will surely be a
weekend full of new ideas, techniques, and information
to bring back to your team. Contact Information:

WACPC All-State Teams
The WACPC All-State Team tryouts
are going live in 2009! Tryouts for the 2009 All-State
Teams will be held at the WACPC State High School Dance
Championships and at the WACPC State High School Cheer
Championships. What a fantastic way to highlight the
individual athletes on the cheer and dance teams from
Wisconsin! On the tab marked All-State are all of the
specific guidelines, application form, and score sheets
to help prepare for the tryout.
WACPC District
Meetings
Elections for the WACPC Board of
Directors will be held at the district meetings in
August. Previously elections were held at the General
Membership Meeting in October, but as voted by the
members will now be held at the District Meetings so
that more members may have the opportunity to vote for
their representatives. WACPC would love to have you run
for a position on the board. Our success depends on the
support of our members and the volunteers who help in
all endeavors.
On behalf of the WACPC, I would
like to thank you for becoming a member. Our mission is
to positively promote and support the sports of cheer
and dance in the state of Wisconsin and our goal is to
provide our members with excellent competitions and
learning opportunities. Thank you again for your
